Beta Days Coming Back?

(As in "Beta Days" I mean new items coming out and all the other items being dropped down in value and there being a new "Become Extremely Rare" age.)

Have you been seeing jammers say, "The Beta Days are coming back!" ? It might be true due to all the new items that are coming out and how much the rarest items in Jamaa are decreasing in value, as seen in the Diamond Shop.

Or, they could just be over-reacting to all the new items that have come to be in the stores because they don't want to be down-casted from being rare to baren of all their rare items. Some people are like that, I met them when I saw a "No Beta Days" riot. :3

I actually promote the "Beta Days" to come back ( If it is coming back) so more people can have a chance at getting cool rare items that might come out, so EVERYONE can be equally rare and no rare people can beat down on the newbies in AJ.

So if you have anything to say about the "Beta Days", feel free to comment below! ^.^

Blog Change

Changed the template of the blog to look a bit more like the "Animal Jam ShockWave Blog" ^.^

"New Jammer" and Stone Tool Bench

There are some jammers with the name "New Jammer"! I guess it's because AJHQ is checking their username to make sure it isn't inappropriate.

I've probably seen about 6 of these "New Jammers".

And there is a new piece of furniture in Kimbara Imports!

Stone Carved Tool Bench ^.^

Slingshots!

There have been sightings of jammers with slingshots around Jamaa!

I heard that you could earn them as a gift in the adventures when you play hard mode...

All Types Of Scamming

Want to know if a jammer is scamming you or not? This is a list of different scammer tricks:

The Decline All Trades: Some jammer is saying, "I decline all trades, try me!" Some people try trading them with lame trades, and the jammer declines them all. You or someone else comes along and trades him/her a rare. The jammer accepts the trade and runs off with the rare.

The Sending Scam: A jammer is saying, "Send me something and I send something better back!" Everyone sends store-bought items to the jammer and the jammer sends everyone slightly better items. A random person comes around and sends the jammer a rare. The jammer runs off with his/hers newly acquired rare.

*The Rapid Click Scam: A jammer says to you, "Come to my den, I want to trade you!" You go to their den. They say for you to sit on a specific pillow in the den and click a plush or whatever in their den a lot. They trade you an unfair trade and right where you clicked that den item is where the yes button on the trade is.

* = This scam is now impossible due to the three second wait addition to the trade system, which will activate the trade and wait three seconds for the owner of the items to look at the trade that he/she is presented, then after three seconds, will show the "Yes" or "No" buttons.

The Try-On Scam: A friend sends you a Jam-A-Gram asking you if they can try on something of yours. You reply, "Of Course!" You send the item(s) and let them try it on. Your so called "friend" takes you off of their buddy list and runs off with your item(s).

The Broken Trade Scam: A jammer says, "My trade system is broken, I can only send now, sorry!" You want to trade them something and decide to send them something to trade. They might be telling the truth and send you back, or they might be lying and will run off with your item.

The Contest Scam: A jammer is saying,"Best send wins (My Rare) or (My Outfit)!" You send a rare hoping that you will win. More and more people start sending the jammer. After ages of asking the jammer," Did I win yet?" the jammer leaves with everyone's rares and items.

*The Flash Trade Scam: A jammer says,"Flash trade me lots!" Everyone flash trades the jammer. After a while, the jammer learned to be fast when the trade came up and guess what - everyone lost everything they had.

* =  This scam is now impossible due to the three second wait addition to the trade system, which will activate the trade, then wait three seconds for the owner of the items to look at the trade that he/she is presented, then after three seconds, will show the "Yes" or "No" buttons.

The Animal Code Scam: A jammer says they had an animal code, and in order for someone to get a code, they had to send a rare. A smart scammer will say,"The first half of the code is [6xg903ht] (and no, it does not work. it is fake.) for the second half send me a rare then meet me at (Area in Jamaa)!" When you send them a rare and go to the specified location, he/she won't ever be there.

The "Awesome Item" Scam: A jammer says," I'll trade you this pheonix helmet for your rare backpack!" It's an unbelievable trade, and you trade them your rare backpack. You see it's just an eagle hat colored red and wonder, "DID I REALLY FALL FOR THIS?"

The "Keeper" Scam: (A keeper is someone who works for AJHQ and monitors AJ.) Some Jammer will say," GIVE ME RARES OR I TAKE YOU OFF ANIMAL JAM FOREVER!" I mean, why would someone who works for AJHQ demand everyone for rares? If you don't send them, then you saved yourself some time and rares on AJ. I really don't like these jammers who pretend to be keepers   -.(\

Also Beware Of Scammer Teams. Scammer Teams Will Work Together To Scam Jammers.

So now you should know all the major forms of scamming and shall now STAY AWAY from those jammers. Remember, you can always report, block, and tell them what they are doing is wrong, and don't have to steal pixels. ^3^

Scammers

You should know about this kind of problem with scammers.

You see someone trying to scam jammers and trying to get as much stuff as possible from them. You go over to the scammer and say, "Hey, you aren't supposed to scam people. Now, I have to report you." Then the scammer either logs off, runs away, or tries to hide their animal's name.
But in some cases, they say, "No, YOU ARE the scammer!" Then tell everybody that you were the scammer. This is a problem that most have probably experienced. I have been in this situation many times before, and I am thankful that Animal Jam has added these report badges.

I would like to say to all the scammers out there that you should QUIT SCAMMING. Scamming has a bad influence on jammers, and has brought some jammers to tears from being scammed.
Please stop the scamming and be a cool person!
You don't have to steal pixels! Stop being a thief!

Be a Jammer, Not a Scammer!
